Privacy Policy

This notice explains how we handle the personal data collected through our online booking system, under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). By making a booking you accept the processing described here.

Your personal data is processed by the following business, acting as data controller:

When you make a booking we collect only what the service requires:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Appointment date and time
• The service you chose
• The language you used the site in

We do not collect sensitive data such as payment details or identity numbers.

• To create and manage your appointment
• To notify you when your appointment is confirmed, declined, or approaching
• To keep business records of the service provided

To provide the booking service, your data is shared with the following providers:

• WhatsApp (Meta): your name, phone, service and appointment details are used to notify our barber and to send you confirmation, decline and reminder messages.
• Google (Google Calendar): your name, phone and appointment details are written to the barber’s calendar.
• Hosting and database providers: your booking records are stored on the servers of our infrastructure providers (Vercel and Supabase).

These providers may operate servers outside Türkiye, so your data may be transferred abroad. Such transfers happen solely to deliver the service and under those providers’ own security measures.

Booking records are kept in our system for 12 months from the appointment date, after which they are deleted automatically.

Copies held by the providers listed in section 5 are not covered by that automatic deletion: the WhatsApp conversation on our barber’s phone and the Google Calendar entry remain in those systems unless separately deleted. You can ask us to delete those copies too.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Only two technical cookies are set:

• A language cookie, remembering which language you view the site in. It is set for every visitor and contains no personal data.
• An admin session cookie, set only when someone signs in to the business management panel. It does not affect customers making bookings.

Under article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information about that processing
• Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted
• Object to the processing
